How to do Token Swap?
If you are an investor holding tokens on an exchange when the token swap takes place you do almost nothing. Many big exchanges do token swaps on their platforms while users simply create “new tokens” where you hold the “old token” in your trading account.
However, if you are holding crypto tokens in your personal wallet the process will be a bit more complicated and depend on each token move of the particular Blockchain project. In general, token holders need to register their tokens before the token swap deadline to ensure their tokens will be transferred to the new Blockchain. This process is also known as “mapping”.
