WHAT IS BEP-20?

The BEP-20 is a token standard on the ERC-20 expansion Binance Smart Chain, the most popular Ethereum token standard. You can see it as a design for tokens that determine how they can be used, anyone can use them and other rules to use. Since it is similar to Binance Chain’s BEP-2 and Ethereum’s ERC-20, it is compatible with both.
The BEP-20 was formed as a specification for Binance Smart Chain, with an aim to provide a flexible format for developers to launch a wide range of different tokens. They can represent anything from stocks in a business to dollars stored in bank vaults, stablecoins are telling example.
